Booking and timing
Two weeks ahead is comfortable for a local Wichita move, though end of month dates and lease turnover weeks fill up faster than the middle of the month. If your date is fixed, call as soon as you know it rather than waiting.
For furniture delivery or assembly on its own, we can often turn a job around within a few days, sometimes the same day if a seller needs a pickup quickly.
Furniture delivery details
We pick up from stores, warehouses, and private sellers across Wichita and the surrounding towns. Send us the pickup address, the drop off address, and a photo of the piece and we will size the truck and crew for it.
If a piece will not fit through a standard doorway, we will tell you before the truck leaves rather than after it is stuck halfway up a stairwell.
Assembly questions
Assembly stands on its own as a service. Plenty of customers order a bed frame or a desk online and just want it built rather than left in a box.
Crib assembly gets extra attention since a loose bolt matters more there than on a bookshelf, and we check every joint before calling a crib finished.
Weather and Kansas conditions
Wind and sudden storms are part of moving in Kansas, and we plan around them rather than letting them stop a job. Lightweight items get loaded and secured early, and heat sensitive items are loaded last and unloaded first in summer.
If severe weather genuinely makes a day unsafe, we will call to talk through moving the schedule rather than pushing through it.
Apartments and access
We handle apartment moves without an elevator regularly, and we ask about the building and unit number ahead of time so the crew size matches the stairs involved.
If a building requires a reserved freight elevator or a certificate of insurance, let us know early so nothing is held up on the day.
